Prepping The Skin – the skin can be prepped with a few sessions of ENZYME THERAPY Level 1 to strengthen it prior to any invasive skin treatment to help prevent any unwanted side-effects or reactions to the treatment. This is a particularly important factor when the health of the skin has been severely compromised due to certain medications, drug use, alcohol, poor diet or environmental damage
Progressive Results – The effects of Enzyme Therapy are progressive. The more Enzyme Treatments you have, the better your skin becomes as the cells respond to the treatment. Over a number of sessions, the skin cells are effectively trained to perform just as they did when they were once young and healthy. Lost cell functioning and balance are restored as the cells learn to do what they were originally designed to do.

Level 1 - is a fantastic introduction to DMK Enzyme Therapy. We assess the skin and perform the signature brush cleanse and then use the Enzyme Mask itself to gently remove any dead cell material. We start this way as it is important to strengthen and rebuild your barrier function before we move your skin up to higher level peels. A happy barrier = a healthy functioning skin which will achieve better results in the long run.
Level 2 - is where we start to introduce your skin to exfoliation. We use one type of exfoliator, either before or in the Enzyme Mask itself. This is where we start to address any dysfunction in the skin.
Level 3 - takes it up a notch. We use two custom peels or exfoliators, either before or before and in the Enzyme Mask itself. We remove any dead cell material build up on the skin, then we rebuild from the inside out strengthening the skin with the Enzyme Mask. Level 3 can also include basic DMK muscle banding.
Level 4 - is the Ultimate Enzyme Therapy treatment. Advanced Muscle Banding. The “Green Enzyme” will give a skin tightening and firming effect on the skin as well as having an exfoliating action. Advanced Muscle Banding AKA The 3 step Red Carpet Treatment is perfect ahead of an event. It incorporates the original Enzyme Mask #1 plus the “Green Enzyme” (Mask #2) and Enzyme Mask # 3. This will leave your skin looking and feeling instantly tighter, plumper and hydrated. It is completed with a transdermal infusion of active ingredients.

HOW ENZYME THERAPY WORKS
The DMK Enzyme Treatment is the most powerful, effective method for hydrolyzing dead cell material from the skin tissues, detoxifying the skin of all impurities and lifting and tightening it for a firmer, youthful, glowing appearance.
Our enzyme masques are capable of tightening the skin progressively and removing impurities from the skin cells by a process known as reverse osmosis.
Reverse Osmosis is a “back-flushing” action that forces fluids through the membrane around the cells, cleaning out all impurities (Lipofuscin) and leaving behind a clean, white substance. Lipofuscin is a free radical substance, created by sun damage or other trauma to the skin.

1. FACE & NECK MUSCLES
The enzyme treatment stimulates the facial muscles enabling them to
become stronger, providing a
more youthful appearance.
The tightening action of the enzyme treatment has the effect of actually exercising the facial muscles. This tones and tightens the facial muscles without having to physically exercise them yourself. The result is firmer,
smoother, tighter skin.
2. BLOOD VESSELS
Your skin is dependant on a rich supply of blood and healthy, properly functioning blood vessels to transport the blood to the skin cells. Your face, in particular, has many blood vessels.
DMK Enzyme Treatments act on the blood vessels by causing them to become dilated which allows a greater supply of oxygen rich blood to flow to the skin in order to nourish it.
3. LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
The lymphatic system is the filtering system for the blood. It consists of a network of lymph nodes, lymph and lymph vessels found throughout the body including the face and neck.
Special formulated enzymes act on the lymph nodes to encourage a drainage action that expels toxins and impurities and is felt as a tightening and pulsating of the masque.

The Plasmatic Effect
As the blood vessels and lymph nodes respond to the actions induced by the enzyme treatment, a peculiar effect is produced. This is known as the Plasmatic Effect.
The Plasmatic Effect is an indication that homeostasis has been established in the skin cells. What you see in the accompanying image is the effect of the Enzyme Masque after an enzyme treatment. The lines disappear after about 20 minutes
The enzyme treatment promotes a new rush of fresh oxygenated blood from within the skin due to the dilated capillaries.
You can literally see this effect on the skin of the neck and face following an enzyme treatment. The capillaries stand out like a road map-proving the effects of the enzymes treatment goes deep enough for total dilation of the peripheral capillaries.
