Treating Scarred Skin
There are a number of different types of scars that can form on the skin. We typically treat scarring from acne, which includes pigmented post inflammatory marks, and indentations left in the skin.
Acne scarring, depending on severity can leave the face or affected skin with an uneven rolling texture which is difficult to mask without treatment. Over time, acne scars may fade, but rarely self-correct entirely, as in most cases the damage to the skin is too severe to heal of its own accord. At Nu-Yu Advanced Skin Solutions, Our aim is to stimulate new collagen formation in the scarred area and rebuild the skin by plumping it with different modalities that can effectively reduce or eradicate acne scars. We also offer treatments that help lighten scarring.
We only treat people under the age of 21 in exceptional circumstances with express parental consent as these are corrective cosmetic treatments.
