Service Description

Also known as Thermo Auricular Therapy, Hopi Ear Candling is a wonderfully relaxing and beneficial treatment. It can help with many conditions and problems associated with the ear, nose and throat area. The candles work in a similar way to chimneys, the candle is lit and placed in the ear and the impurities are drawn to the surface by the airflow circulating in, around and out of the top of the candle. A mild suction occurs and the heat of the released, circulating vapours, inside the ear, gently massages the eardrum. This action helps to regulate the pressure systems within the head including the sinuses, which may be infected. Treats: Excessive or compacted wax Snoring Sinusitis, rhinitis, glue-ear, colds, flu, headaches, migraines Tinnitus, noises in the ears Vertigo Neuralgia (nerve pain in the face) Meniere's Disease Frequent air travel- ear pain Swimming or people who partake in scuba diving or water sports Stress Treatment includes a lymphatic drainage massage.
