The BYONIK® – Pulse Triggered Laser is the world’s only system that repairs skin at a cellular level and locks in hydration at the same time. The Byonik PTL uses smart pulse-triggered technology, so it adjusts its frequency to your heartbeat and releases its laser energy into the skin in time with each beat to allow for maximum absorption of nutrients into the skin cells. The difference with this treatment is that we are not destroying skin cells to produce new ones, but we are preserving and re-energising the cells we have, which in turn slows down the ageing process of our skin cells.

After starting with a spritz of anti-pollution mist and a good cleanse, an enzyme mask will be applied to exfoliate and prep skin for better absorption. After the skin has been immaculately prepared, the first round of laser will begin, working to improve lymphatic flow and circulation. A hyaluronic acid gel will then be applied to the skin, its strength dependant on your unique concerns and goals. This is then lasered to enable penetration and may be followed by another round of serums and further lasering before the product is sealed in with a mask.

This treatment isn’t advised for anyone who has light-sensitive conditions such as epilepsy, or for anyone with skin cancer. It is seen to be perfectly safe even during pregnancy (after the first trimester), for those on oral roaccutane, and for all skin types and tones. It’s excellent for those with sensitive skin, rosacea, eczema, and acne and can even be used alongside more invasive treatments or injectables.

Since the Byonik Laser uses cold laser technology there is no downtime, and it is completely pain free.

After one treatment, you can expect a reduction in breakouts and brighter, healthier, and fresher skin over the following days. But a regular course of treatments will plump the skin, visibly reduce lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, even skin tone, target acne, and reduce pore size.

No, there is no discomfort experienced during treatment and no ‘down-time’ needed following Byonik treatment. Usual activities can be resumed immediately.

The Byonik treatment can be had daily if an intense course is recommended, however, most patients have a longer gap between sessions. This will be discussed with you during your consultation and designed to suit your needs.

Byonik has a great safety profile and any damage to the skin due to burns is not possible as it uses cold laser technology. There are no known side effects.

We will be able to give you specific advice during your consultation, however, this treatment can help if you have very sun damaged, crepey skin and/or have other advanced signs of ageing such as deep wrinkles. It is not a substitute for surgical treatments. Byonik can be used in combination with other treatments such as Radio Frequency, Chemical Peels, Microcurrent, Micro-needling, Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, Dermal Fillers and the Thread Lift treatment; it can even be had on the same day as many of these treatments. You may need more than one treatment of Byonik to achieve your results. You and your practitioner will create a treatment plan which may include using this treatment alongside other treatments

There is no reason why those in their 20’s and 30’s onwards shouldn’t consider this treatment as a preventative treatment and to maintain and improve healthy skin. Those who have had a lot of sun exposure and who have dry, dehydrated skin may find this treatment especially beneficial. There may be alternative treatments that may also suitable for you depending on your concerns and skin condition.

Byonik pulse triggered laser is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, light-induced epilepsy or skin cancer (in last 5 years)
